Men's and Womens Bodybuilding Rules

Contestant Attire: Body piercing studs or other objects must be removed prior to the prejudging and display phases. Jewelry is not allowed with the exception of wedding rings. Earrings are allowed for female contestants. Earrings may not be worn by male or female bodybuilders (ear studs allowed for both men/women). Posing suits shall be of a single color and non metallic in nature for prejudging. If in doubt about a suit bring a backup suit.

Judging: The Judging Panel will consist of a Head Judge and at least nineteen (19) Staff Judges. High and low scores are to be eliminated with the remaining scores tallied. Contestants are ranked highest with the lowest combined score. The Head Judge will be 1972 Mr America Steve Michalik who may vote and is responsible for all communications between the judging panel and the contestants as well as verifying the tabulated results. In the event of any disputes the most senior official, Mr. Dan Lurie present will be empowered to make a final ruling.

There will Be 3 Rounds of Pre-Judging:

Symmetry Round 

  • In a relaxed position each competitor will line up by number and perform 4 Quarter Turns as a group

Individual Free Posing

  • Each competitor will get 60 seconds to Free Pose to house music.

Muscularity Round

  •  Contestants will be required to perform mandatory poses as a group. These include:
  • Front Double Bicep
  • Lat Spread (front)
  • Side Chest - Side of Choice
  • Rear Double Bicep
  • Lat Spread (rear)
  • SIde Tricep - Side of Choice 
  • Abs and Thighs 
  • Most Muscular (Men Only) 

Music: Contestants must supply their own music on a CD no longer than 90 seconds. The CD must be cued to the beginning of the music. Vulgar lyrics are grounds for disqualification or substitution of generic music at the discretion of the Committee.

Best Beach Body Rules: 

Registration and Check-in is at 12pm.  

There is no pre-judging for the Beach Body contest.

Everyone is welcome.

There will be one class for the Beach Body contest.  

All contestants will line up back stage in order by number.  From there you will walk one at a time to center stage.  You will be introduced by name, take your model stance/pose, then walk to side stage as instructed by the expediter.  Once all the competitors have been announced, you will walk off stage together.  The judges will call out the top three finalists one last time to the stage, where the awards will be handed out. 

Awards: All competitors are introduced at the finals all competitors will pose at the Finals. The top five (5) receive trophies and an overall trophy to the winner amongst the classes. Beach Body awards are given to the top 3.  Special awards for Most Muscular and Best Poser will also be presented.

Results:The Official Scorecards from each judge will be posted online following the contest.
